Africa’s Legends evolved in 2004 as a branch of Art of Africa CC which had been formed by Gezz Robison in 1990.  For many years Gezz and his son, Richard, grew the business and it became recognised as a leader in the tourism industry with a great reputation for quality, reliability, pricing and service. 

Richard left Africa’s Legends in 2015 to branch out to start his own company, KoolAfrica. We have  continued to have close ties between the 2 businesses.

Africa’s Legends has grown into, arguably, the largest supplier of the widest range of gifts and souvenirs for the tourist industry in Africa.  We have become known as a leader in product design and branding and have a client base of over 1000 satisfied customers including game parks, airport shops, hotels and all major tourist hubs.

In addition to the South African market, we currently export to 10 other African countries and a number of countries on other continents.  We couldn’t have done this without our very valued customers, many who have been buying from us since we started all those years ago.

We have an experienced and committed workforce.  They work hard to make sure that your experience when dealing with us is smooth and enjoyable.  We also have a team of ladies that manufacture our own range of African themed jewellery, bottle stoppers, key rings, etc. in our factory.
